In the morning (at 10:55 a.m.) the operational control panel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a signal about a fire in the Sovetsky District. In the village of Khlebnoy, a private house caught fire. Moreover, there was a threat of the fire spreading to neighboring buildings. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene, laid hose lines and started extinguishing the fire.
Within 45 minutes, the fire was completely localized and eliminated. Its area was 64 square meters. meters. Thanks to the coordinated actions of firefighters, it was possible to avoid further «transition» of fire. There were no casualties. The reasons are established by experts— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Crimean firefighters draw the attention of residents and guests of the peninsula to the need to comply with security measures:
- do not store gas cylinders near open flames,
- store cylinders in specialized cabinets,
- do not leave unattended household appliances plugged into the mains,
- make sure that the electrical wiring is in good condition, do not use damaged electrical appliances and electrical sockets,
- operate electrical appliances in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer’s operating instructions,
- do not connect several powerful consumers of electricity to one electrical outlet at the same time, overloading the electrical network.
