Crimean freestyle wrestlers have three medals of the SFD championship in freestyle wrestling among youths

The team of Crimea won three medals (all bronze) at the championship of the Southern Federal District in freestyle wrestling among youths up to 18 years. Competitions on March 4-6 were held in Belorechensk, Krasnodar Territory.

Edem Zagainov from Yevpatoria (weight category — up to 42 kg, coach — Muzaffar Eshmatov) and Maxim Zagainov (up to 92 kg, coaches — Muzaffar Eshmatov and Zamir Avamilev), as well as Ruslan Zaseev from Alushta (up to 60 kg, coach — Yuriy Nartikoev) , — reports «Crimean Sport».

In total, more than 80 athletes from Crimea (9 wrestlers), Adygea, Krasnodar Territory, Rostov, Astrakhan and Volgograd regions took part in the competitions, which were qualifying for the championship of Russia.
