Crimean handleys at the championship and junior championship of the Southern Federal District in Rostov-on-Don won 19 medals

The Crimean national team won 19 medals at the championship and junior championship of the Southern Federal District of Armrestling in the Rostov-on-Don on January 24-27 in the Rostov-on-Don.

Competitions were qualifying for the main starts of the country. More than 300 athletes from Crimea, Adygea, Kalmykia, the Krasnodar Territory, the Volgograd and Rostov regions fought for the victory.

The assets of our fellow countrymen have 7 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze awards.

In the YuFO championship, two “gold” (in the fight on the right and left hands) was taken by Sergey Ivanov from Simferopol (weight category — over 110 kg) and Alina Redko from the Saksky district (up to 65 kg). Simferopolets Daniil Shilov (up to 70 kg) earned “gold” on his right hand and “silver” on his left, and his fellow countryman Andrei Petrenko (up to 85 kg) — “bronze” on the right. Two «bronze» (in the fight on the right and left hands) took home, Sudakchanin Ivan Lyashenko (up to 60 kg).

In the competitions of the juniors, the already mentioned Ivan Lyashenko (up to 60 kg) was the best in the fight on his right hand and received a “bronze” in the struggle on the left. Two more Sudak residents rose to the podium: Bogdan Lenkovsky (up to 70 kg, “gold” on his left hand) and Rasim Residjanov (“silver” on his right hand). Dzhankois Sergey Dobryak (over 90 kg) and Polina Miroshnichenko (up to 55 kg) won two medals — respectively “silver” in the struggle on his right hand and “bronze” on the left, and, conversely, “silver” on the left and “bronze” On the right. Yana Sidorenko from Simferopol (over 55 kg) — “silver” on his right hand and “bronze” on the left.
