Crimean investigators organized a blood donation campaign
CrimeaPRESS reports:
During the New Year and Christmas holidays, the work of emergency services, including medical institutions, will not stop for a minute, and someone may need urgent help. Employees of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol thought about this in advance and again organized an action for collective donation of donor blood. Over the course of two days, officers from all units visited the “Blood Center” in Simferopol and Sevastopol. Crimean investigators are regular donors who take part in donating blood not only collectively, but also individually arrive when called by doctors when emergency situations require it.
Employees of the Main Investigation Department follow all medical recommendations on diet before donating blood, and immediately before the procedure they are examined by specialists. Throughout the year, investigators, as part of the humanitarian action of the Investigative Committee of Russia “Blood Brothers,” donated blood for soldiers of a special military operation who were treated in medical institutions of the peninsula, and also took part in the formation of a unified database of bone marrow and hematopoietic stem cell donors of the FMBA of Russia— reported in Sledkom.
By their example, the officers once again want to remind us of such an important area of volunteering as donation, where everyone, by devoting just a little time to donating blood and sharing a part of themselves, can save someone’s life.
