In Russia, a federal survey of the country’s residents about the development of the tourism sphere and ease of travel has launched. Its results will become part of the assessment of the implementation of the national project “Tourism and hospitality” and will be taken into account when forming proposals to the President of the country.

At the end of 2024, the Popular Front published the results of a study of interest in domestic tourism among Russians, which demonstrated the growth of this indicator. Among the improvements, the Russians most often noted the improvement of tourist centers of cities.

This is especially in demand in Crimea — only last year they landed 41 public territories on the peninsula, and 77 are planned in this, a significant part of which tourist squares, parks and embankments.

We have a lot of landscaping objects in Crimea and public territories, these are tourist zones, it is an improvement in the quality of rest of citizens and residents of the republic. The opinion of Crimeans and guests of the peninsula as one of the main resort regions of Russia is especially valuable— said Oleg Byshuk, member of the regional headquarters of the Popular Front, Deputy Director of ANO «Housing and Public Utilities Control in the Crimea».
