Crimean judoists win five medals of the Southern Federal District championship in Armavir

The Crimean national team won five medals at the judo championship of the Southern Federal District among men and women held on May 25-27 in Armavir, Krasnodar Territory.

Kristina Varlamova (up to 52 kg) and Marina Antoshkina (up to 78 kg) became champions of the Southern Federal District in their weight categories. Another representative of Kerch — Alena Belousova — took silver in the weight up to 48 kg. «Bronze» in the assets of Simferopol Arsen Khatipov (up to 73 kg, coaches — Dmitry Ilyanovich and Vladimir Shchelkanov) and Yulia Revva from Kerch (up to 57 kg). It should be noted that judokas from Kerch train under the guidance of Vladimir Krasovsays «Crimean sport».

In total, 205 athletes from the Crimea, Sevastopol, Adygea, Krasnodar Territory, Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions took part in the competition.
