Crimean parliamentarians approved the budget of the Republic of Crimea for 2024

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea-Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko clarified that according to the procedure, the bill prepared by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Crimea on the execution of the budget of the Republic of Crimea for 2024 was already approved by the Crimean government on May 28 and was considered during the public discussion held in the online format from June 16 to 18.

The bill was approved with the following basic indicators: the income amounted to 275.6 billion rubles (101.3% of the plan), expenses — 275 billion rubles (99.9%), with a total surplus of 589 million rubles.

In general, the budget policy was aimed at mobilizing and using budget resources to ensure social guarantees and the development of the region. The additional receipt of income made it possible to increase expenses and finance not only the obligations taken, but also additional socially significant expenses, — Irina Kiviko commented.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the largest amount of expenses was aimed at financing the industries of the socio-cultural sphere-146.1 billion rubles or 53.1 % in the total amount of expenses of the republican budget.
