As part of preventive work with minors, as well as in order to ensure road safety, a police raid was carried out on the territory of the city of Saki and in the Saki district. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
During the evening, employees of the juvenile affairs unit, together with inspectors of the traffic patrol service of the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Saksky”, documented five facts of driving mopeds by teenagers who have not reached the minimum age for driving them and who do not have the right to drive vehicles: two facts in the city of Saki, three — in the Saki region.
Considering that the teenagers have not reached the age of 16, the employees of the juvenile affairs unit drew up administrative protocols in respect of the parents of offenders under Art. 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation «Failure by parents or other legal representatives of minors’ obligations to support and educate minors»the message says.
The vehicles were confiscated by State traffic inspectors and placed in a specialized parking lot.
All materials collected by police officers will be sent to the municipal administrative commissions for consideration.
For non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment by parents or other legal representatives of minors of their obligations to support, educate, educate, protect the rights and interests of minors, punishment is provided in the form of a warning or the imposition of an administrative fine of up to five hundred rubles.the police said.
