Crimean power engineers continue emergency restoration work

Specialists from the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Krymenergo” continue emergency restoration work. Currently, 216 emergency teams (about 600 people) are involved in eliminating technological violations. Specialists and equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other organizations are also involved.
On November 28-29, 2023, squally winds (up to 25 m/s) with rain led to new damage to power grid facilities on the peninsula. The most common of them are breaks in wires, cables and ties due to gusts of wind, and falling power line supports.
The operational and emergency teams of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» eliminated the consequences of the disaster everywhere at night. As of 21:00 on November 28, the number of de-energized subscribers was 21 thousand people. At 10:00 on November 29, without electricity — 49.5 thousand consumers in Simferopol (13.8 thousand), Belogorsk (6.2 thousand), Bakhchisarai (4.7 thousand), Saki (6.4 thousand). ) and other areas of the peninsula; 79 6-10 kV lines are de-energized, including partially.
Primary attention is paid to socially significant facilities: boiler houses, water supply and sanitation facilities, kindergartens and schools, first aid stations, etc. Diesel generator sets are used. To restore supports and tension wires, towers, ladder trucks and other special equipment are used. In a number of settlements, off-road vehicles are used to access damage sites.
