Our proposals regarding migration legislation are under consideration by the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots. They will be included in one of the bills. This was announced by my friend, chairman of the committee Leonid Ivanovich Kalashnikov,-wrote Aksenov in his Telegram channel.
He thanked the chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and the head of the Kalashnikov committee for the operational reaction and attention to Crimean initiatives.
The head of the republic is also indicatedthat on Thursday the State Duma adopted a law expanding the list of grounds for depriving acquired citizenship of the Russian Federation up to 80 points. Among them are crimes related to the threat of the country’s security, such as, for example, gosisman or terrorism.
The norms of this law do not apply to residents of Crimea, Sevastopol and new regions of Russia. According to Aksenov, for the authorities of the republic it was a fundamental position.
