Crimean rescuers evacuate a «climber tourist» from Sudak's Mount Sokol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today, at 15:55, a message was received that a tourist had gotten lost in the area of Mount Sokol (near Sudak). Rescuers’ help is needed to evacuate him from the mountain-forest zone. Employees of the Sudak emergency rescue team «KRYM-SPAS» and mountain rescuers of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea, having found out the approximate location of the young man, went to the area of search and rescue operations.
Upon arrival, rescuers quickly found the tourist in the area of the Devil’s Finger mountain on a difficult section with loose soil. As it turned out, during a tourist walk, the guy turned onto a false path and ended up in a hard-to-reach area— reported «CRIMEA-SPAS».
Crimean rescuers, observing all safety measures, brought the «climber» to a safe place. He did not need medical assistance.
P.S. By the way, pay attention to the shoes of the tourist who set out to conquer the mountain peak.
