Upon arrival, department employees began search operations. After 5 hours, taking into account the bad weather and the onset of darkness, it was decided to strengthen the group and call the duty shift of the Feodosia ASO «CRIMEA-SPAS». Rescuers examined the surrounding areas of the Orariy agricultural production complex and the village. Transshipment towards the village. Lesnoye, the total area of the surveyed area was 60 sq. km. As a result, more than 7 hours later, the woman was discovered on the northern slope of Mount Frank Mezer between the villages of Perevalovka and Shchebetovka. Search and rescue operations were complicated by thick fog, rain and low air temperatures.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations warns: if you decide to go in search of mushroom and berry places:
- Tell your family exactly where you are going to pick mushrooms or berries, so that if you are lost, they can narrow down the search area.
- wear bright and catchy clothes. This will also make the task of rescuers easier, because in camouflage and encephalitis suits a person simply blends in with the trees.
- Take with you to the forest a compass, a fully charged mobile phone, if possible, a mobile charger, a knife, matches or a lighter, a bottle of water, and a snack. All of the above won’t take up much space, but it can save your life.
- do not take alcohol with you. It is one of the reasons why even experienced mushroom pickers get lost in the forest.
- do not hesitate to shout “ay” or “help” if you realize that you are lost or have lost sight of your relatives.
In case of emergency, you must call the rescue service using a single emergency number — “112”.
