Farewell to one of the leading climbers of Crimea, Daniil Vedenmeer, took place in Yalta. He served with honor and courage and defended the interests of our country in the zone of a special military operation.

The son of famous rock-climber parents was attracted by rocks from a young age. Father Andrei Vedenmeer is a world and European champion. Mother Margarita Panferova is a champion of the USSR, an international master of sports, and for many years the president of the Climbing Federation of the Republic of Crimea. It is not surprising that rock climbing became the main occupation of Daniil’s life. He became the winner of the Friendship Cup. He was a participant in Russian championships and all-Russian competitions. Repeatedly climbed to the top of the podium at the championships of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
