The Krasnodar Territory and Stavropol, but the Republic of Crimea demonstrates impressive growth, remain the leaders.
As the member of the board of the National Resort Association (NKA) Evgeny Terentyev noted, the sanatorium-resort sector is an important component of the tourism industry of Russia, providing opportunities for recovery and recreation, and a change in demand in the regional context allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of development strategies, infrastructure improvements and marketing efforts taken by various subjects of the Federation.
The development of the sanatorium-resort sector will allow the Crimea to go out on a year-round, providing jobs and replenishment of the republic’s budget throughout the year. Crimea, which has unique natural-climatic resources and developing infrastructure for spa treatment and healing, has significant potential for attracting tourists and investments,-quoted the press service of the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Gansiy.
