Crimean schoolchildren and students are invited to a new session of online lessons on financial literacy of the Bank of Russia

Schoolchildren, students and teachers of the Republic of Crimea can take part in the autumn session of online lessons on financial literacy of the Bank of Russia. The class schedule includes not only the main core topics, but also a module on career guidance.
The start of the new season of the regulator’s webinars will be opened by First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia Olga Skorobogatova, who will conduct a lesson “The evolution of payments: from cash to the digital ruble.” Connect to broadcasts it will be possible on September 19 at 9:30 Moscow time or watch it in “In contact with«, where there will be an opportunity to ask questions to the lecturer.
Representatives of the mega-regulator, employees of large banks, university professors and market experts will conduct distance classes on 21 topics. At the lectures, experts will touch on issues of entrepreneurship, responsibility and financial risks of a business owner, teach you how to draw up a business plan, manage personal and family budgets, understand taxes and insurance, and protect your funds from cyber fraudsters. Special classes will be devoted to introducing specific financial products — for example, online lessons on bonds will be held for the first time. In addition, students will be told about the professions of financier, business analyst and teacher — a separate module on career guidance is provided for this.

Students from 459 schools attended the spring session, which is almost 90% of schools in the region, and the distance learning sessions themselves received 56.6 thousand views. Also, 95% of Crimean colleges joined the regulator’s classes.”
