Crimean schoolchildren are expected at the Olympiad in financial literacy and entrepreneurship

Crimean schoolchildren will get acquainted with the basic concepts and principles of financial literacy online olympiad, which launched today on the educational platform Uchi.ru. Students from grades 1 to 9 can complete assignments and test their knowledge. The participants of the Olympiad will be offered to try themselves as entrepreneurs: open a virtual enterprise, purchase equipment for it, think over pricing, promotion and customer service. After each stage, feedback is provided for schoolchildren with the most effective solution.

At the Olympiad, students will gain new knowledge about savings methods, online transfers, cyber hygiene rules, they will be able to learn how to plan a budget and take into account financial risks, – notes Igor Tsvetkov, Head of the Branch of the Bank of Russia in the Republic of Crimea. — And thanks to game tasks, new information will be learned better and easier.

To participate in the competition, you must register on the finance.uchi.ru website or log in with a username and password from Uchi.ru.

In 2022, almost 16,000 schoolchildren from the region took part in the Olympiad, which is 3 times more than a year earlier. The Olympics will end on March 31st. Participants and winners will receive diplomas, certificates and diplomas, which will be placed in their personal accounts.

The Olympiad is held with the assistance of the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia in accordance with the objectives of the national project «Small and Medium Enterprises».
