Crimean social activists decided to give an independent assessment of the quality of medical services
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Public Council under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea, as part of monitoring the conduct of a survey on an independent assessment of the quality of service provision by medical organizations, conducts on-site activities in medical institutions of the Republic. The chairman of the Public Council for the NOC, Alexander Petrov, spoke about this. Crimean social activists have already visited the Sudak city and Bakhchisaray district hospitals, the Kerch maternity hospital, the third and fourth clinics of Simferopol, and the Iskra children’s sanatorium.
Medical organizations tested the possibility of making appointments for patients with specialists at third-level medical institutions. Also during the visits, attention was paid to the issues of ensuring an accessible environment for people with limited mobility. In addition, institutions were provided with methodological assistance in organizing the provision of medical care to the population— reported the Ministry of Health of Crimea.
It is emphasized that an independent assessment of the quality of the conditions for the provision of services by medical organizations is one of the forms of public control and is carried out in order to provide citizens with information about the quality of the conditions for the provision of services by medical organizations, as well as in order to improve the quality of their activities.
The NOC provides for the assessment of the conditions for the provision of services according to such general criteria as openness and accessibility of information about the medical organization; comfort of the conditions for the provision of medical services, including the waiting time for the provision of medical services; friendliness and politeness of employees of a medical organization; satisfaction with the conditions of service provision, as well as accessibility of medical services for people with disabilities.
