Crimean social facilities and residential buildings are preparing for the heating season

The Head of the Republic of Crimea announced during a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea that preparations for the heating season in the Republic of Crimea continue. Sergei Aksyonov noted that the decision to start the heating season must be made based on weather conditions and temperature conditions.

The Republic of Crimea is provided with fuel for the heat supply of social facilities and residential buildings in municipalities in sufficient quantities. I ask the heads of municipal administrations to personally monitor the process of purchasing coal for social facilities. If the purchased coal is of poor quality, an investigation will be carried out– the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov also clarified that during visits to municipalities, as well as based on citizens’ requests, the quality of preparation for the heating season will be assessed.

The Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Donets made a report on the readiness of life support facilities and services of the Republic of Crimea for operation in the autumn-winter period of 2023–2024. Thus, according to the minister, the bulk of the planned activities to prepare for the heating season have already been completed.
