During the period from September 15 to 17, 2023, the Media School of Russian Student Teams (RSO) was held in St. Petersburg. This event, organized with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and a grant from the Governor of the Altai Territory in the field of youth policy, is designed to develop the competencies of student groups and create a media community in the Republic of North Ossetia.
The RSO media school in St. Petersburg was full of interesting events and active learning. It brought together participants from 57 regions of Russia, including heads of PR departments of regional branches of the Russian North Ossetia. The main idea of the event is the development of new mechanisms for attracting student youth to the activities of student teams— noted in the press service Crimean regional branch of the International Public Organization «Russian Student Teams».
Participants of the RSO media school in St. Petersburg attended lectures and practical classes in the following areas: content creation, photography, design. As part of the educational program, master classes, round tables, excursions to the offices of regional media and strategic sessions were organized. Invited speakers from the media industry and VK company experts shared their knowledge and experience with the participants.
Particular attention was paid to integration with VK. As part of the educational program, representatives of the RSO visited the VK office, where they got acquainted with the company’s services and products, and also learned how to integrate them into the events of the student movement.
Elizaveta Stepanova, head of the press service of the Crimean regional branch of the Russian North Ossetia, shared her impressions:
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Crimean regional branch and the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea for the unforgettable and eventful time spent at the media school of Russian student teams. The media school was not only educational, but also introduced me to wonderful people from different parts of Russia. I also got a unique opportunity to work in the content team and collaborate with cool specialists, creating content for the All-Russian event. I am glad that there is such an opportunity to participate in such projects, and it was an incredibly important experience for me.
The RSO Media School in St. Petersburg has become a bright event for students, where knowledge, experience and creativity merged into a single whole.
