Crimean student will take part in a rocket launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome

In the year of the 65th anniversary of the student teams, the Soyuz 2.1a launch vehicle will launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, on the body of which the symbols of the anniversary year of the Russian Student Teams (RSO) will be placed. On board a transport cargo ship
“Progress MS-27” will carry the flag of the anniversary year of RSO, which will go to the International Space Station (ISS). The rocket launch is scheduled for May 30.
Russian student teams, with the support of the Roscosmos State Corporation, carried out an educational project, the purpose of which was to provide the opportunity to participate in a rocket launch from Baikonur. As a result of the selection among the movement participants, one of the finalists was Elena Kaznacheeva, a student at the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University and a specialist at the regional headquarters of student groups of the Republic of Crimea.
Members of the Russian student teams movement have been working at landmark sites for the country throughout history. The space industry is no exception. More than 6 thousand young people took part in the construction of the Vostochny and Plesetsk cosmodromes. This is a unique opportunity for students to contribute to the history of our country. In addition, many guys were able to connect their future careers with this industry and today continue to work at Roscosmos enterprises, already among full-time employees. An educational project launched by RSO together with Roscosmos will give our children the opportunity to “reach for the stars” and see with their own eyes the launch of a launch vehicle into space,” commented Mikhail Kiselev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, Chairman of the Board of Russian Student Groups.
On Cosmonautics Day, April 12, Russian student teams, with the support of the Roscosmos State Corporation, announced the start of an educational project, the finalists of which received the right to participate in a trip to the launch of the Soyuz 2.1a launch vehicle from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Those who applied for participation in the project were current participants and veterans of the student movement, representatives of teenage labor groups, participants in the Vostochny and Pomorie student construction projects, participants in the Belarusian student teams that took part in the Vostochny Cosmodrome student construction project, candidates who applied for website laborkrut.com. Based on the selection results, 15 winners were determined from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Volgograd, Saratov, Rostov, Vologda, Omsk regions, Perm Territory, the Republic of Crimea and Udmurtia.
