Crimean students collect books for libraries of orphanages

Through the efforts of fighters of Russian student groups in the Republic of Crimea, the annual volunteer campaign “Give a Book to a Child” is held, dedicated to International Book Giving Day. Over the course of a month, through the efforts of student brigades from all over the peninsula, books will be collected and handed over to the libraries of orphanages.
The campaign has been held since 2018 and is aimed at developing volunteerism, popularizing reading and replenishing the library collections of orphanages and boarding schools in the Republic of Crimea. Anyone can join it.
To participate you need:
- find a children’s book or books in good condition;
- write your warmest wishes;
- bring a book or books before February 13 to the Tauride Academy of the Crimean Federal University. IN AND. Vernadsky (building A, room 500) at the address: Simferopol, Academician Vernadsky Avenue, 4;

All collected books will be donated to orphanages in the Republic of Crimea on February 14, International Book Giving Day.
