Crimean throwers won 6 medals at the All-Russian competitions

Crimean throwers won 6 medals at the All-Russian competitions among men, women, juniors under 23, juniors under 20, boys and girls under 18 and under 16, which were held in Sochi at the stadium of the Yunost sports complex.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Crimea, in the final start of the winter season, the Crimean throwers won 6 medals – 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze.
Leadership in the javelin throwing sector for women was confirmed by the Yalta athlete, Honored Master of Sports Vera Markaryan (Rebrik). Having sent the javelin to the mark of 57.76 m in the sixth attempt, Vera won the competition with a large advantage, overtaking the closest rival by more than 5 meters.
The winner in the javelin throw among girls under 18 was Dana Naziuta (Yalta, coach Vera Terentyeva), her result is 41.49 m.
Pupils of coach Nikolay Petrovich Timoshenko became silver medalists in javelin throwing in their age categories — master of sports Kirill Fomenko (Saki, track and field athletics school No. 1) among men — 73.42 m, master of sports Evgeny Bryushenko (Saki, SShOR in athletics No. 1) among juniors under 23 years old — 64.79 m and Vladislav Dubrovinsky (Saki, track and field athletics secondary school No. 1) among boys under 18 years old — 51.88 m.
The third place in the hammer throw among juniors under 20 was taken by a Sakchan resident, a candidate for master of sports Sergei Kharitonov (coach Yury Anatolyevich Kharitonov) with a score of 58.82 m.
The next start for the Crimean throwers will take place on March 18, 2023 in the city of Saki, where they will compete for the awards of the 2nd stage of the Cup of the Republic of Crimea and the Republican throwing competitions.
