According to the Investigative Committee, the investigation of the criminal case on the murder of a girl in Simferopol, committed in 2009, has been completed.
According to the results of a thorough systematic work on the investigation of crimes of past years, carried out by investigators of the investigative department for the Kievsky district of the city of Simferopol and forensic investigators of the criminalistics department of the Main Investigation Department in cooperation with the operational officers of the criminal investigation department of the Kiev police department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Simferopol, in July this year, involvement in the crime of a resident of the city of Dzhankoy was established— reported in the Sledkom.
It was established that a man in October 2009, while in the evening in a deserted place near Plotinnaya Street in Simferopol, after a short conflict with a previously unfamiliar girl, hit her on the head several times with a stone, after which he fled the scene of the crime. The victim died at the scene from the injuries sustained. For a long time the crime remained unsolved.
At present, the investigation of the criminal case has been completed. The preliminary investigation bodies accuse the man of committing a murder (Part 1, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He was elected a measure of crossing in the form of detention.
The guilt of the defendant in the commission of the crime is confirmed by the conclusions of the molecular genetic, forensic medical examinations, testimonies of witnesses, examinations of objects, as well as other materials of the criminal case— informed in the Sledkom.
As specified in the prosecutor’s office, the deceased was 25 years old. The man struck the victim at least 4 times in the head with a stone, which he found at the crime scene.
Genetic traces were found at the crime scene, during the examination, the identity of the accused, who was serving his sentence in the Republic of Adygea, was established. During the course of the investigation, he pleaded guilty to committing the alleged crime.
