Crimean track and field athletes win three medals at the junior national team meeting between Russia and Belarus in Brest

Three Crimeans competed in the Russian team. Candidate for Master of Sports of Russia Sergey Kharitonov from Saki (coaches — Yuri Kharitonov and Mikhail Levin) with a result of 67.61 m (personal record) became the winner of the competition in hammer throw. Candidate for Master of Sports of Russia Ilya Ivanov from Simferopol (coaches – Oleg Leonov and Artem Azizyan) took two silver medals – in the 100 (10.71 sec.) and 200 m (21.74 sec.) races. Another Russian, Andrey Sapozhnikov from the Moscow Region, won in these events (10.54 sec. and 21.64, respectively). The Yalta resident Raul Kudinov (also a candidate for Master of Sports of Russia, coach — Anna Pyatykh) stopped one step away from the podium, showing the fourth result in the long jump (7.05 m, personal best) and the fifth in the triple jump (14.96 m)— reports «Crimean Sport».
The Russian team won the match, scoring 154 points (the Belarusians had 92).
