Crimean volunteers became participants in the All-Russian Patriotic Forum “Snow Landing of the Russian North Ossetia” in Arkhangelsk

In 2024, the 55th anniversary of the patriotic action “Snow Landing of the Russian North Ossetia” is celebrated, which has become all-Russian and is held in 65 regions of the country. In Crimea, the campaign has been held since 2018 and is aimed at cleaning and improving the settlements of the peninsula, helping older people, and holding open lessons in schools.

Of the 530 participants in the RSO Snow Landing, held this year in Crimea, 6 of the best student detachments were selected and were invited to the All-Russian Patriotic Forum “RSO Snow Landing” in Arkhangelsk. At the forum, participants from all over the country were able to present the best practices in patriotic education of school and student youth.

During the period from February 23 to 26, the patriotic forum of the All-Russian patriotic action “Snow landing of the Russian North Ossetia” was held in the city of Arkhangelsk, dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the action. The forum brought together 500 people from 37 regions of Russia, among whom were representatives of student groups of the Republic of Crimea.

As part of the forum program, lectures and master classes, creative workshops and panel sessions aimed at developing labor volunteerism in the country were organized for participants. Special attention was paid to organizing the collection of humanitarian aid, the work of humanitarian missions, and interaction with the families of participants in the Special Military Operation. The Crimean experience of conducting labor volunteer landings both on the territory of the peninsula and in new territories of the country was highly appreciated at the all-Russian level.

As an educational benefit for the forum, Crimean student workers were also able to take part in an excursion program around the city of Arkhangelsk and master classes related to the crafts of the Arkhangelsk region. One of the brightest and most memorable events was the setting of a Russian record for making snowmen, which the forum participants, together with local youth, successfully accomplished.

The All-Russian Patriotic Forum “Snow Landing of the North Ossetia” became an important event that brought together young people from all over Russia, striving to develop and strengthen the volunteer movement. The participation of representatives of student teams of the Republic of Crimea in this event opens up new opportunities for the development of youth initiatives in our region and interaction with children from different regions of the country— said Ekaterina Denesyuk, master of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student teams.

In 2023, the All-Russian patriotic action “Snow Landing of the North Ossetia” became a nominee for the All-Russian Educational Prize “Knowledge”.
