Crimean woman who suffered from gas-air mixture explosion dies

Earlier, the Russian Emergencies Ministry Telegram channel reported that three people were injured in Crimea on July 22 due to an explosion of a gas-air mixture as a result of a depressurized gas cylinder — Here. An emergency occurred in the village of Vladislavovka, Kirovsky District. The structures of a private one-story residential building collapsed. There was no fire. The victims were taken to the Kirovsky District Hospital.
Unfortunately, despite the medical assistance provided, one of the victims died in a medical facility. The condition of the other two victims is currently assessed as serious, stable— the press service reported.
The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region reported that investigators are conducting an investigation into the injury of residents of the Kirovsky District as a result of an incident with household gas. The investigation is being conducted under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of citizens).
In addition, the inspection is being conducted by the republic’s prosecutor’s office, based on the results of which an assessment will be made of the work of regulatory bodies, as well as compliance with fire safety measures and the safe operation of gas appliances.
