Crimean wrestlers-classics won four medals at the tournament in Gelendzhik

In Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Territory 24 — September passed XVII Open Tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling among youths of three age categories (2007-2008, 2009-2010 and 2010-2007 yr. ) for the prizes of Olympic champion Nikolai Balboshin.
In the competitions hosted by the Fortuna sports complex, more than 350 athletes from the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea, Adygea, Kalmykia, Rostov, Volgograd , Tula and Nizhny Novgorod regions. Crimea was represented by the pupils of two Simferopol sports clubs — «Fregat» and «Olympionik». The assets of the Crimeans — four medals — two «gold» and «silver» , — reports «Crimean Sport» .
The winners of the competition were «frigates» Vadim Turkov (among boys 2007-2008 years of birth, weight category — up to 85 kg) and Ali Usmanov (among boys 2010-2007 y R., up to 24 kg), both train under the guidance of Sergey Popenkov and Evgeny Plutitsky. Ali Usmanov was also recognized as the best wrestler of the tournament. Silver medals were won by representatives of Olympionik Aram Sargsyan (among boys 2007-2008 b., before 58 kg) and Rostislav Slinchenko (2009-2010 years . r., up to 24 kg), coaches — Dmitry Evtushenko and Alexander Kurdynko.
