Crimean youth completed a humanitarian mission in the Kursk region

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A combined group of volunteers of the Youth Wing of the Popular Front from the Voronezh region, Yakutia and Crimea completed a humanitarian mission in Kursk. From the first days after the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, more than two months, 3 groups of Crimean students from KFU named after. V.I. Vernadsky, KIPU named after. Fevzi Yakubov and the Crimean College of Radio Electronics helped evacuated residents of the Kursk border region and soldiers of the Northern Military District.

In just two months, volunteers from more than 30 regions of Russia became participants in the humanitarian mission. The situation in Kursk showed how our youth can unite and quickly respond to challenges. The guys come from even the most distant corners — from Yakutsk to Donetsk. Despite the distances, climatic conditions and difficult work, they are always ready to be where help is needed, — notes Vladimir Taranenko, deputy head of the Executive Committee of the Popular Front, head of the Youth wing of the Popular Front.

A team of volunteers worked in several Kursk warehouses at once — clothing, food and “Everything for Victory!” In the last two weeks alone, the guys distributed more than 4 thousand items of clothing for residents of temporary accommodation centers, prepared and sent 150 winter jackets to a special boarding house, and also delivered 500 pairs of jeans to Zheleznogorsk themselves.

A separate group of volunteers flashed 187 UAVs. Crimean volunteers were especially active in helping soldiers from Crimean units transfer cars and boats.

Two weeks in the Kursk region flew by like one day, filled with emotions and important matters. During this time, I participated in sorting humanitarian aid, trying to make sure that everyone in need received everything they needed. Assembled trailers, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of aid to those who needed it.

Seeing how people are happy about help, how they become stronger and more reliable, charges you with positivity and gives you strength to move forward. The Kursk region impressed with its history and its fortitude. This inspires and makes you evaluate your life in a new way,” notes Crimean resident Konstantin Dyatlov.

Every day, volunteers from the gum mission of the Youth wing of the Popular Front worked in the Kursk military hospital. The guys unloaded humanitarian aid arriving for wounded soldiers and also helped prepare medical wards.
