Crimean youth on the spot help residents of Kursk region in distributing humanitarian aid
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Participants of the Crimean Youth Wing of the People’s Front arrived in the Kursk region to help local residents who suffered from shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The guys went to the site straight from the federal forum «Rubezh», together with volunteers from all over the country
The organizers suggested that only young men join the work in Kursk Oblast, as the region currently needs strong hands. More than 30 volunteers from 15 regions responded to the call.
The guys from Crimea were among the first to sign up as volunteers. The Crimean team regularly goes on humanitarian missions to new regions and has participated in emergency response efforts.
As a Crimean, I couldn’t stay away. The country has been helping us for all these ten years, and we must respond in kind. I am going with another participant from Crimea, the girls wanted to join, but unfortunately, they only take guys. I have traveled to the Kherson region more than once, worked in humanitarian centers. “Fly-ins” regularly occur in neighboring Sevastopol. All this is very close to us. Also recently, my team and I were in Belgorod, delivering humanitarian aid. We saw how the region lives. And now a literally similar situation, maybe even worse, is happening in the Kursk region. Therefore, when they offered to go, I immediately agreed. Who, if not us, will help people— said Alexander Kardanov.
Together with volunteers from all over the country, young Crimeans are unloading humanitarian aid for soldiers and civilians, collecting food packages, distributing them to the population, and providing targeted assistance in evacuation.
