Crimean Youth Theater will be named after Oleg Permyakov

In the history of the Russian theater, there are many cases of naming the theater after its founder: the Moscow Theater of Oleg Tabakov, the Theater of Young Spectators named after A. A. Bryantsev in St. Petersburg, the Sevastopol Academic Dance Theater named after. Vadim Elizarova and others. In the near future, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, the issue of naming the Crimean State Theater of Young Spectators named after Oleg Permyakov will be resolved.
The history of our theater dates back to 1987, when two young directors Oleg and Nina Permyakova arrived in Evpatoria and created a children’s
theater. For 36 years, the theater has changed ownership and name several times: In 1995. the children’s theater center-complex was given the status of «International», the complex was renamed the International Children’s Center-Complex «Golden Key». In 2014, the theater becomes the International Center for Theater Arts «Golden Key».In August 2019, the theater received a new status, becoming the Crimean State Theater for Young Spectators, founded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea. The theater has kept the children’s studio «Golden Key». For 36 years, hundreds of graduates have left the walls of the theater. After studying at theatrical universities, some returned to their hometown and work in our theater, someone builds a career in the theaters of the country and acts in films, participates in creative projects on television. The theater is known far beyond the borders of Russia, it is developing, growing and delighting the audience with its performances. After the death of Oleg Anatolyevich in 2001, Nina Petrovna Permyakova and her children, and today even her grandchildren, continue the theatrical dynasty of the Permyakovs. The eldest son, Andrei, became a famous Crimean director and theater and film actor. The younger, Sergei, is a theater artist. Thanks to the graduates of the theater, the public of Evpatoria, the city administration, who came up with the initiative to name the theater after Oleg Anatolyevich— noted in the press service of the theater.
