Crimeans affected by the November storm need to hurry up with applications for compensation payments
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Crimeans whose property was damaged due to bad weather must submit applications for compensation within 30 days. This was announced by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov. According to him, such a short time frame will allow us to quickly formulate a general application for receiving funds from the federal center.
According to information from the Crimean Council of Ministers, disaster victims have the right to receive one-time financial assistance in the amount of 10 thousand rubles if, as a result of dangerous weather events, their living conditions were disrupted (electricity was cut off for more than a day in a row, etc.).
Also, financial assistance in the amount of 50 to 100 thousand can be received by citizens whose essential property was completely or partially lost as a result of flooding or destruction of their living premises. Citizens of the Russian Federation who are registered or have proof of residence at the address where the loss of property was established have the right to receive assistance.
Citizens can submit an application for compensation payments to the labor and social protection authorities of municipal administrations, to the “My Documents” centers, as well as to the State Services portal.
Commissions to determine damage to property of Crimean residents begin work in municipalities. The process is coordinated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea.
In addition, a list of residential premises damaged as a result of bad weather will be compiled, as well as lists of citizens living in these premises to receive compensation for major repairs.
Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that the work of municipal commissions should be organized clearly, according to a single algorithm and standard instructions.
All necessary information should be available to citizens, as well as receiving feedback. I ask managers to personally check the operation of all hotlines daily to ensure their availabilitysaid the Head of Crimea.
From December 5, hotlines will be organized in a question-and-answer format, to which citizens will be able to ask for clarification on receiving payments.
On behalf of Sergei Aksenov, hotline numbers should be posted on the websites of municipalities, and also given as a “creeping line” in the media.
