Crimeans and Sevastopol residents have five medals at the Russian junior boxing championships

In the capital of North Ossetia-Alania, Vladikavkaz, in the ring of the Manege Sports Palace, from April 30 to May 12, the Russian boxing championships were held among juniors 17-18 years old, juniors 17-18 and 19-22 years old. 627 athletes from 82 regions of the Russian Federation took part in the competition.

The Crimean national team won four medals in the national championship among juniors 17-18 years old. The winners of the competition in their weight categories were Simferopol resident Anatoly Rebedyuk (up to 51 kg) and Ruslan Shikhmambetov from Saki district (up to 80 kg). In the final fights, Anatoly Rebedyuk defeated Muscovite Timurbek Mamadaliev by a split decision (3:2), and Ruslan Shikhmambetov unanimously (5:0 — the result of the judges’ vote) was stronger than Ilya Berlizev from the Belgorod region. Simferopol resident Daniil Kravchenko took silver in the weight category up to 63.5 kg, losing in the final to Malik Sugaipov from Chechnya (0:5)— reports «Crimean sport».
