Crimeans and Sevastopol residents will undergo exclusive heart examinations at the MRMC

In the Multidisciplinary Republican Medical Center at the Federal State Budgetary Institution Federal Research and Clinical Center of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, a group of 80 patients will undergo endoelectrophysiological studies of the heart (EPS), exclusive for the region.

EPS is a modern and high-tech minimally invasive diagnostics that allows you to accurately assess the functional state of the conduction system of the heart and identify the foci of heart rhythm disturbances, after which specialists select an effective method of treatment in accordance with the diagnosis. At the moment, the MRMC is the only medical institution on the territory of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol where EFI is performed, the center reported.

Examinations are carried out at the MRMC free of charge, if the patient has a compulsory health insurance policy (or a VHI policy).

EFI in the MRMC residents of Crimea and Sevastopol from 31 October will be carried out by specialists of the Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Specialized Types of Medical Care and Medical Technologies of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia under the guidance of the head of the department of X-ray surgery, candidate of Medical Sciences, doctor — arrhythmologist — cardiovascular surgeon Sergey Korolev.
