Crimeans are among the leaders in the number of participants in the financial standings among the regions of the Southern Federal District and North Caucasian Federal District
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Republic of Crimea was in second place in terms of the number of participants in the VI All-Russian online test on financial literacy among the regions of the Southern and North Caucasus federal districts. More than 38 thousand residents of the peninsula tested their knowledge, of which almost 80% successfully passed the test, received certificates and individual recommendations.
Every year more and more Crimeans of different ages take part in educational projects of the Bank of Russia. This year, the number of people wishing to take the financial test has increased by almost 10 thousand compared to 2022. This suggests that people are aware of the need to have basic knowledge to manage their budget and make smart financial decisions– the press service of the head of the Republic of Crimea Branch of the Bank of Russia quotes Igor Tsvetkov.
In total, 1.9 million people in the country took an online test on financial literacy: from schoolchildren to pensioners. The easiest questions for middle and high school students turned out to be questions about protecting bank card data, and the most difficult were questions about investing and protecting personal data in applications. Older people easily coped with questions about financial fraud and much more difficult with tasks about payments under the MTPL insurance policy. All participants received certificates and personal recommendations on improving their level of financial literacy from specialists.
Let us remind you that every year the organizers of the All-Russian online test on financial literacy are the Bank of Russia and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. The test results help the mega-regulator understand which topics of financial literacy and in which regions need to be given more attention.
