Crimeans are most concerned about transparency in salary issues during job interviews
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the open survey of the service Superjob.ru Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
It is not only job seekers who fail interviews. The most critical issue for potential employees is transparency in terms of remuneration. For 16% of Crimeans, a situation when a recruiter avoids answering questions about salary, offers earnings under a “gray” scheme or lower than stated in the vacancy is a signal that they should not get a job at a company. For 14% of job seekers, the absence of a salary, payment according to KPI, and phrases like “income without a ceiling” are unacceptable.
11% of respondents are outraged by rude and disrespectful attitude, arrogance, jargon in speech and familiarity of the company representative. 10% are put off by the feeling of ambiguity, understatement in the conversation, when the recruiter cannot or does not want to answer a direct question. For 10%, phrases about overtime and irregular working hours are critical. 9% are irritated by personal questions that are in fact discriminatory, for example, about age, marital status, presence of children— the service’s press service notes.
Every twentieth applicant at an interview will be wary of promises of “mountains of gold,” and another 4% will be wary of the lack of a clear description of responsibilities.
City residents admitted that they are offended by the phrases “we are one family”, “a young, friendly team”, “everything is fine in the company, our company is the best”, and the template question “Where do you see yourself in N years?” during interviews.
Job seekers are stressed by requests to name their positive and negative sides, to assess their stress resistance, as well as negative reviews about former employees.
