Crimeans consider the age from 18 to 21 years to be suitable for starting work
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Economically active Crimeans most often consider the age from 18 to 21 years to be the most suitable period for starting work. Those who have children believe that it is better to start earlier: at 14-17 years. In a survey by a service for finding high-paying work SuperJob Representatives of economically active citizens took part.
4 out of 10 Crimeans (43%) began their working careers between the ages of 18 and 21. Every third (31%) began working at the age of 14-17. 17% of respondents began their careers at the age of 22, and 7% of respondents went to work at the age of 10-13. And only 1% of city residents had work experience of up to 9 years (in our time, mainly as an actor or model, in the Soviet era — not only in creative professions, but also, for example, in agriculture). Men more often than women worked part-time already in their late teens (14-17 years). Women more often began working at the age of 18-21.— the service’s press service reported.
When it comes to the beginning of children’s work activity, the picture is similar: most often, city residents named the age from 18 to 21 years as suitable for starting work (45%), in second place – from 14 to 17 years (36%).
At the same time, those who do not have children named a later period of entry into the labor market as optimal (40% — at 18-21 years old, 17% — after 22 years old). And every second parent (49%) believes that a child can start working part-time as early as 14-17 years old.
