Residents of Crimea, together with the Kerch metallurgical plant, donated a diesel generator for Crimean fighters in the Zaporozhye direction as part of the project “People’s Front. Everything for victory! Such urgent assistance to soldiers is necessary to carry out special tasks of restoring equipment in combat conditions.
Military equipment in the Northern Military District zone often has to be repaired right on the spot, since it is not always possible to drag it to the workshop. To do this, Crimeans leave with everything they need in mobile groups. A generator is indispensable for this, since electricity is always needed for welding, plumbing, and mechanical work.
We had just handed over a batch of construction aid to equip new positions when the soldiers asked us to help with the generator. Now both the guys’ positions and their visiting groups are provided with the most necessary things,” said the head of the regional executive committee of the Popular Front in Crimea, Alla Vertinskaya.
Together with a special video greeting from the Crimeans, the Popular Front handed it directly into the hands of fighters from Crimea. The guys set out to save our iron horses and asked to convey a message to their native republic:
