In honor of the Day of Defender of the Republic of Crimea and on the eve of the Day of Special Operations Forces, flowers were laid at the memorial plaque on the building of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea and at the monument to Polite People.
Now, after ten years, we can fully appreciate the significance of the events that took place near the walls of the Crimean parliament on February 26, 2014. This day became a turning point for us. We clearly understood that together we are fighting for our future, the future of the peninsula, of the entire Crimean people— noted the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov.
In the following days of late February and early March 2014, events in the Republic developed rapidly.
We simply could not fail to justify the trust of the Crimeansrecalls Vladimir Konstantinov.
According to him, this unity of republican power with voters, our citizens, remains. This is the most valuable political capital of Crimea.
