Crimeans named their favorite teachers

LCrimeans most often call literature teachers their favorite school teachers. Most citizens, especially parents of schoolchildren, have a positive attitude towards Teacher’s Day. In a service survey SuperJob Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
When asked what subject their favorite school teacher taught, Crimeans most often named Russian language and literature (14%). In second place is mathematics (12%), and in third place is history (13%). 9% of respondents consider primary school teachers to be their favorite teacher. 6% of respondents each said that their favorite teacher taught foreign language or biology lessons. 5% had good relationships with geography or physics teachers. For 5%, their favorite teacher taught computer science, for 3% — chemistry, and another 2% — physical education. 1% of respondents each named life safety, music or drawing teachers as their favorite.
Women more often named teachers of the Russian language and biology as their favorite teachers, men — teachers of mathematics, geography and physics. Those who now earn more than 100 thousand rubles a month more often said that at school they had friendly relations with teachers of mathematics, history, physics and chemistry.
1 in 8 Crimeans does not have a favorite teacher.
On October 5, the country celebrates Teacher’s Day. 6 out of 10 Crimeans (58%) positively assess their attitude towards the holiday: 27% treat it with love, 31% note that they like it. 4 in 10 said their attitude was neutral, and only 1% outright hated this day.
Crimeans over 45 years of age are more likely than others to have a positive attitude towards the holiday (64%). More positive assessments are found only among parents of schoolchildren (66%).
