And another 80 brands in the “Know Ours” competition are also from Crimea.
Crimeans submitted 298 applications to the “Strong Ideas for New Times” forum and 80 brands to the “Know Ours” competition. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.
In 2024, Crimeans submitted twice as many ideas to the “Strong Ideas for New Times” forum compared to last year. The largest number of proposals is in the categories “Quality of Life of the Population”, “Development of the Economy and Entrepreneurship” and “Space for Living”. In total, more than 30,000 applications were submitted to the “Strong Ideas for New Times” forum. Experts will select the top 1000 and top 100 best projects from them, which will be presented to the country’s leadership.
In addition, Crimeans submitted 80 applications to the “Know Ours” competition of growing domestic brands. Among them: the “Wonderful Lavender” cheese factory, which was the first to add lavender flowers to cheese and made it the hallmark of the peninsula; workshop of sugar-free chocolate and sweets with extracts of medicinal Crimean herbs “Fitatsi”; production of cosmetics «Crimean Natural Collection», which has been developing for more than 14 years.
The “Strong Ideas for New Times” forum is held annually in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation and is aimed at supporting socially significant initiatives and projects of citizens. Organizers: Agency for Strategic Initiatives and Roscongress Foundation.
