Crimeans have already compiled a list of films and TV series that they will watch during the New Year holidays. Representatives of the economically active population took part in an open survey of the SuperJob service.
24% of Crimeans plan to watch Soviet films and TV series. The most popular films for the New Year holidays are “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!”, “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession” and “The Adventures of Shurik”. Modern foreign films and TV series are chosen for viewing during the holidays by 15% of respondents. The top ratings include the Harry Potter film series, the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Barbie. 14% of respondents prefer modern Russian films and TV series: the top 3 included “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the asphalt», «Slave» and «Mother-in-law»,” noted the service’s press service.
10% of city residents will review foreign classics during the holidays: the top three most popular are Home Alone, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Problem Child.
13% of Crimean residents chose other genres to watch during the holidays. 6% will trust a television program. 18% do not plan to spend the New Year holidays watching films and TV series.
During the New Year holidays, women will watch Soviet films more often, while men will watch modern Russian films and TV series.
