In a service survey SuperJob Crimeans told where they usually eat before work and what their breakfast consists of. The survey involved representatives of the economically active population working on the employer’s premises.
68% of Crimeans have breakfast at home on their working days, 17% at their workplace. Only 1% of respondents choose public catering establishments for their morning meal. 9% usually skip breakfast on weekdays.
Men prefer to have breakfast at home (72%). Women are more likely to have breakfast at work (19%) or skip their morning meal (15%). But most of those who do not have breakfast at all on weekdays are among respondents under 34 years of age (21%).
What’s for breakfast? On weekday mornings, 3 out of 10 people (30%) choose porridge. 29% of respondents eat scrambled eggs, omelettes or boiled eggs. Every fourth person snacks on a sandwich. 15% finish what is in the refrigerator in the morning. 11% limit themselves to a cup of coffee, 9% to a cup of tea. Cottage cheese for breakfast is preferred by 8% of respondents, yogurt by 5%. 2% have cookies and cheese for breakfast. Other options included baked goods, fruits and vegetables, muesli, pancakes, cheesecakes, meat or fish, pasta, nuts, etc.
Men more often have breakfast with what’s left in the refrigerator. Women more often prefer sandwiches and yogurt. Women often choose coffee instead of breakfast, tea — men.
