The Popular Front held the traditional patriotic action “Fire of Memory”. From the eternal flame taken on the grave of an unknown soldier in Moscow, the eternal lights and memory lights in the regions of Russia will be lit, including in the liberated cities of Donbass and different countries.

On May 4, in the Alexander Garden, representatives of the Popular Front, military correspondents and public figures took particles of eternal fire into special lamps and deliver fire to more than 130 cities in Russia and 21 countries of Europe, Asia and Africa, including Belarus, Bulgaria, Venezuela, Zambia, Israel, India, Cyprus, DPR, Serbia, Abkhazia. The ceremony helps to ensure the military commandant’s office of the city of Moscow and Mosgaz JSC.

Representatives of the Popular Front will deliver lamps with fire to the cities of Russia as part of the automotive consumers, the main of which will pass through new regions and end with lighting memory lights in the liberated cities of Donbass, where it has not burned for more than 30 years.

The Crimean team of the Popular Front will deliver a “fire of memory” to Abkhazia, and with it a capsule from the mass burial of fighters from the Leninsky district of Crimea. In anticipation in the region, the laying of flowers and “fire of memory” at the memorial to the sons of Abkhazia in the village of Batalny was laid, and the earth was taken on the mass grave in the village.
