Criminal “drug control” will answer for robbery. What did three residents of Sevastopol do?
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Sevastopol police are investigating a criminal case of robbery committed with penetration into a home (Part 3 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to investigators, three residents of Sevastopol, aged 23, 24 and 30, previously convicted of illegal drug transactions and property crimes, suggested that an acquaintance of one of them, a 23-year-old man, could be involved in the illegal sale of prohibited substances and have in stock a large sum of money, which they decided to steal and divide among themselves.
In order to successfully implement the planned plan, the accomplices assigned roles and paid a visit to the victim at his place of residence. When the owner of the apartment opened the door, three masked robbers burst into his door, one of whom, threatening him with an object similar to a pistol, demanded 50 thousand rubles from him as a contrived fine, allegedly for drug trafficking. Having not received the required amount and making sure that the victim had no money, the attackers stole two thousand rubles and a passport of a Russian citizen from the victim, and then disappeared— said the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
As a result of operational search activities, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Russian Department of Internal Affairs in the Balaklava region detained all participants in the robbery. During the searches, material evidence was seized, including the alleged crime weapon — an air pistol.
Currently, further investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime committed. By decision of the court, two detainees were taken into custody, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure for the third suspect is being decided.
