Customs officers stopped the smuggling of military products into the United States
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Employees of the Southern Operational and Central Postal Customs intercepted two parcels with military components addressed to the United States in Moscow. It was established that they were sent by a 40-year-old resident of Simferopol.
The boxes contained parts of a general-arms body armor, a night vision device, clothing and special equipment.
Customs officers searched a warehouse rented by the attacker and seized about 20 more units of military products: body armor and other weaponsreports the press service of the Southern Operational Customs.
Currently, 2 criminal cases have been initiated against the man under Part 1 of Art. 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (smuggling of ammunition, weapons of mass destruction, means of delivery, other weapons, military equipment). The investigation is ongoing.
