Damage to the state in the amount of more than 47.5 million rubles — a criminal case has been opened in Crimea for fraud
CrimeaPRESS reports:
An investigator of the Investigation Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Simferopol opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Fraud) against an official.
Criminal activity was suppressed by employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea together with the Vog of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for ensuring economic safety and security and the regional department of the FSB.
The police established that, as part of the implementation of the federal target program and the State program for reforming the housing and communal services of the Republic of Crimea, a municipal contract was concluded between the Administration of Stary Krym and the director of one organization to carry out work on the MSW landfill site.
However, when executing the contract, the contractor used materials of lower quality, which were worse in their technical characteristics and lower in cost, which directly affected the operational characteristics of the facility and the cost of the work performed.
The examination showed that the difference between the cost of the work indicated in the acts of completion and the work actually performed amounted to more than 47,500,000 rubles. This is the amount of damage caused to the budget of the Republic of Crimea.
During searches in the building of the Kirov District Administration, as well as in a subcontracting organization, police seized documentation of evidentiary value.
The suspect could face a maximum penalty of ten years in prison.
