Dangerous finds in Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Crimea, pyrotechnicians of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, without exaggeration, risk their lives daily. Working with dangerous finds — seven days a week. On the territory of the peninsula, it is possible to detect so many explosive objects that the pyrotechnicians of the Russian Emergencies Ministry compare their work with picking mushrooms. Only in contrast to the «quiet hunt», you have to take everything that is found.

Not so long ago, a particularly large ammunition — a high-explosive aerial bomb weighing 250 kilograms — was neutralized by pyrotechnicians of the Special Marine Detachment of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Republic of Crimea.

Thanks to a well-designed strategy for transportation and liquidation, the operation was carried out as safely as possible for the residents of the village of Primorsky GO Feodosia. A dangerous find was discovered in the area of the equestrian complex by one of the employees. A conscious citizen turned to the rescue service, according to him, the outline of the find outwardly resembled ammunition, and was not mistaken— said in the emergency department.

Another dangerous find, now of German origin FAB-50, was found not far from from the village of Zhuravki, Kirovsky district. During earthworks, citizens discovered a high-explosive aerial bomb. The explosive object was removed by the Specialized Detachment, transported and destroyed at a special training ground.

All pyrotechnic works on neutralization were carried out in compliance with all necessary safety measures.

In total, since the beginning of the year, pyrotechnicians of the Russian Emergencies Ministry have neutralized 3,325 explosive objects in Crimea, including 80 bombs.
