CrimeaPRESS reports:
As part of the Melanoma Diagnosis Day, specialists from the Clinical Dermatovenerological Dispensary examined 211 Crimeans who underwent skin dermatoscopy. This study allows you to evaluate moles or other formations on the skin and determine their nature, character and safety. As the Republican Ministry of Health clarified, the method is aimed primarily at the early detection of skin cancer and, in particular, melanoma.
Skin cancer occupies a leading position in the structure of cancer diseases in the Republic of Crimea, which is associated with increased sun insolation on the peninsula. Pathology can be detected in the initial stages during clinical examination and preventive medical examination. Early detection of the disease increases the effectiveness of treatment— reported the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
Also in Crimea, chatbots “Check a mole online” continue to work, helping to identify skin cancer in the early stages. Any citizen can undergo self-examination using chatbots by answering 6 simple questions from the system. When undergoing testing, if the system identifies the need to visit a medical organization, the chatbot provides information about where to go, the address and telephone number of the medical organization in the region.
