One of the key events is the traditional laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame memorial at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Yury Gagarin Park in Simferopol. The head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, participating in the ceremony, noted that the Great Patriotic War had become a battle for freedom and for the right of our people to exist.
