A united people emerged from the baptismal font, previously divided into different tribes, often at odds with each other. Our ancestors carried this unity through the centuries, overcoming all trials and divisions with God’s help.
As history shows, the refusal to follow the choice made by the Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince has each time turned into a catastrophe. This is what is happening today in Ukraine, captured by new Judases. And many people think that the brotherly nations are separated forever. That it is impossible to overcome the wall of hatred.
But for God and the people enlightened by the light of faith, everything is possible. The history of the Baptism of Rus is a clear confirmation of this.
It is symbolic that Crimea became the «assembly point» of the Russian world. According to Saint Innocent (Borisov), Archbishop of Kherson and Taurida, «here is the font of our baptism; here is the beginning of our sacred history and folk legends.»
We will never renounce the memory of our ancestors, our great heritage. Our cause is just, Victory will be ours!
